Water Institute of Southern Africa (WISA) Conference

Durban, 15th to 19th May 2016

The Water Institute Southern Africa (WISA) conference is a key biannual event covering all aspects related to water and sanitation, and which brings together academic institutions, practitioners, industrials and politicians. Postgraduate students and research staff from the PRG presented their research results as oral presentations and posters, and participated in session panels as experts in the field.

In addition, the PRG assisted eThekwini Water and Sanitation (EWS) in developing posters, brochures and fact sheets for their stand.

A site visit was also undertaken to the Newlands Mashu Research Site by 80 delegates. This visit was co-ordinated by Carley Truyens from BORDA, Chris Buckley from the PRG and Lungi Zuma from EWS.
