Busari has a PGD in Water Resources Engineering and M. Tech in Irrigation Engineering from Nigeria. He worked with Ministry of Agriculture as a Chief Irrigation Engineer with about 16 years of experience in the area of water resources. He was appointed as a National Consultant with UN FAO in 2013 on National Investment Profile (NIP) in Irrigation Projects across Nigeria. Busari is currently undergoing a PhD research in Irrigation Engineering with focus on investigating the effect of treated wastewater irrigation management on growth and yield parameters of madumbe (cocoyam) and rice in RSA. His supervisors are Dr. Senzanje Aidan of Bioresources Engineering (UKZN) and Dr. Odindo Alfred of Crop Science (UKZN). Publications:
