Project Title: Membrane filtration of flush water and urine Supervisors: Prof CA Buckley & Dr Santiago Joyce Ouma is a post graduate student at the University of KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. She is currently doing her MScEng in Chemical Engineering with focus on membrane filtration of flush water and urine. She holds a BScEng in Water and Environmental Engineering from Egerton University (Kenya). Joyce is a recipient of a PRG bursary, courtesy of a grant from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. She is also has experience working with wastewater due to her participation in several internships programs. Her passion for water, sanitation and hygiene is growing each day.
