Pollution Research Group at the UKZN Postgraduate Research Day 2016

by Susan Mercer | Feb 12, 2017

Each year, the University of KwaZulu-Natal organizes the Postgraduate Research Day in order to give an opportunity to the postgraduate students to exhibit their work, share experiences and interact with students and research staff from other disciplines. Usually, the representative from public and private institutions of interest assist to the event. The 2016 edition of the Postgraduate Day was held on November the 29th, in Howard College campus at the University of KwaZulu-Natal, Durban, South Africa.

As every year, the Pollution Research Group (PRG) was present into this event with an exhibition stand, poster and oral presentations. The exhibition stand, held by our master and PhD students, attracted the attention of the participants and lead to numerous discussions about the activities of the group. Many students seemed very interested in the PRG, so maybe next year we can expect a bunch of interested people to join us!

The poster and oral presentations gave the opportunity to our students to show their work with the UKZN community. The works presented in the Postgraduate Research Day with the respective name of the brave student are listed below. Please give a click if you want to see the presentation!
